Robert Delamontagne is the President of Fairview Imprints LLC and a leading expert on the psychological dynamics of retirement. The Retiring Mind is a book about managing the psychological effects often experienced within 6 to 12 months after retirement. Honey, I’m Home is a book about how to avoid or manage marriage conflicts that often are experienced after retirement.
Robert Delamontagne, PhD, author of the book “The Retiring Mind” utilized Fitzgerald Esplin Advertising’s (FEA) advertising and marketing services to test market his book in select regions in the South and Northeast parts of the country. Some of the regions included: Houston, Boston, Miami, Orlando, Naples, and the Jacksonville as well as locally in the Bucks County, PA area.
FEA developed an ad campaign pointing people to the website and Amazon.com’s website. A book signing event was held in one market and various feature articles were written and published about the book in regional publications. Banner ads also ran on-line.
“The Retiring Mind”, was ranked #1 for a short time in the Retirement Planning section of Amazon and in the top 12 for several weeks during the test marketing period.
